Olivia Troye served as a homeland security and counterterrorism adviser to Vice President Mike Pence. She was a member of White House Coronavirus Task Force until July 2020. Despite being a Republican, Troye endorsed Joe Biden for president. The following interview was conducted by FRONTLINE’s Gabrielle Schonder on Jan. 15, 2021.
